Kar­tik Vashi is an indus­try expert with over 10 years of expe­ri­ence in help­ing cus­tomers with deter­min­ing their machine safe­ty require­ments. He is cur­rent­ly an Appli­ca­tion and Prod­ucts Man­ag­er with Schm­er­sal. He is also an active mem­ber of the CSA stan­dards com­mit­tee for machine safe­ty.

Doug Nix brings more than 30 years of engi­neer­ing tech­nol­o­gy expe­ri­ence to the sub­ject of machin­ery safe­ty, includ­ing prod­uct test­ing, indus­tri­al con­trol sys­tem design and prod­uct safe­ty cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. Doug is an active mem­ber of 10 stan­dards com­mit­tees includ­ing CSA (4), ISO (4) and IEC (2), includ­ing Chair­ing CSA Z1002 OHS Risk Assess­ment and the Cana­di­an Stan­dards Mir­ror Com­mit­tee ISO TC 270 Rub­ber and Plas­tics Machin­ery.
