Doug Nix brings more than 30 years of engineering technology experience to the subject of machinery safety, including product testing, industrial control system design and product safety certification. Doug is an active member of 10 standards committees including CSA (4), ISO (4) and IEC (2), including Chairing CSA Z1002 OHS Risk Assessment and the Canadian Standards Mirror Committee ISO TC 270 Rubber and Plastics Machinery.
